Eligibility

Open to male and female junior amateur golfers. Players must not be over 19 years age of age and must not be enrolled in college. An active handicap index is required with a Central Links Golf member club.

 

Boys must have a handicap index of 9.9 or lower to register. Girls must have a handicap index of 18.4 or lower to register.

 

Format

Two-day stroke play competition - 36 holes. There will be two divisions: Boys and Girls division. All players in each division will play from the same tees. Each day will be a shotgun start at 3:30 p.m.

 

Prizes

The Champion and Runner Up of both divisions will receive a glass trophy. The two Champions will share the perpetual traveling trophy. Both Champions will also receive a qualification spot to the Notah Begay III Junior National Championship regional at Firekeeper Golf Course July 20-21st.

 

Ties

A hole-by-hole on-course playoff will be used in the event of a tie for first place overall gross for each division.

  

Entries & Fees

Entries open on March 2, 2021 at 10:00am.  Players may enter the event by registering online at www.golfgenius.com/ggid/21kcjr/register.

The entry fee is $85 per player. Entries close at 11:59 p.m. CST on May 19th.

Caddies 

Caddies are NOT allowed for this event.

 

Spectators

Spectators are allowed and may walk along to watch the event. Golf carts may be rented by spectators if they are available, but carts for the event must be reserved for Rules officials and Central Links staff first. Spectators (riding or walking) are asked to remain on the cart path during the play of a hole.  Spectators may help search for golf balls but must not function as a caddie. 

       

Rules of Golf, Competition is Final

Play will be governed by The Rules of Golf as approved by the USGA.  Questions will be settled by the on-site Rules Committee, whose decision will be final. The competition is final when the Championship trophy has been presented.  

  

Equipment

All golf balls and clubs must conform to USGA specifications.  Any unusual equipment or devices, such as gloves, unusual tees, alignment aids, braces, and the like are prohibited by The Rules of Golf.  

 

Dress Code

Proper golf attire is required.  Jeans, halter tops, tank tops, and athletic t-shirts are not permitted. Shoes with metal spikes are not permitted.  

    

Registration

On-site registration will not be required.  Please arrive at your starting tee 10 minutes prior to your starting time to receive instructions.
